I have an image in my media basket that I can not for the life of me find the original of on my computer. Is there any way to download the original high-res version of the file from cafepress?

CP is pretty tight about keeping our images secure and not letting them A) have backward access online and B) getting into the business of manually getting them back out.

I did the same thing myself. My problem was I only thought I knew file name...turns out I was searching the wrong file on my comp. So...I found it by copy and pasting the name of the image file from my Cafe Press media basket into my computer's finder.
