Hello everyone. I downloaded the file with all templates. I see two sets for license plates. Which ones should I use? I would hate to get a good design uploaded then have to redo it

There is a top and a bottom template for the license plate. I'm not sure if that's what you have, but it sounds like it. The top part is the smaller of the two.

Sorry. I should have been more clear. There are two tops and two bottoms in the package. I read somewhere that the license plate templates were changed. I just don't know which are the new and old. Here are the file names and the dimensions.

Tops:
6.25x.7_lplate.jpg(Shows to be trimmed to 6.125x.69 on the actual image)

52_H_U.jpg(Shows to be 6.25x.7)

Bottoms:
10.2x.9_lplate.jpg(Shows 10.125x1 on the actual image)

52_H_L.jpg(Shows 10.2x.9)

I know this is fractions in difference. Still it is enough to possibly cause a white border around a colored background or cut off edges of image if I use the wrong one. It could be that either set is applicable but it isn't clear.

How did you get two different sets of templates? I'd just use the sizes they specify in the designer.

Update: I took a look at the designer page. The recommended license plate templates are:
52_H_U.jpg (Upper)
52_H_L.jpg (Lower)

I'm still not sure why the other templates are included in the pack. If anyone knows please post. Thanks.

Thank you Lorilei. I'm having browser problems and didn't make it to the designer.

The way I got two sets was by downloading the zip file with all templates. Both sets are in that folder. I noticed the other set when I was looking for the bottom template. I went from good to go to confused

They didn't clean out the old files from the former license plates. Please write a "bug" report and tell them that having the wrong templates in the zip file is confusing. Maybe if everyone who was confused by it wrote in they would finally get them out of there and no one else would get confused in the future.

I just followed your advice and filed a bug report. Hopefully that will be corrected soon.

I just noticed what my last post looks like. I was trying to have update in bold and couldn't see why it didn't work. It did. Twice. Just in the wrong place
