I just got a "we miss you" email from clipart.com with a coupon for $30 off an annual subscription bringing it down to $129. I tested the link on another browser without my clipart.com cookie and it appears good for all.

Wow, it actually says you *are* allowed to use the images for resale including CafePress. I so often read the terms and find out that you are expressly forbidden (and they name CP). Have you found the images worth the cost?

Depends on what you need... If you do 20 designs a year, I don't know if it's worth it. But it's got a wiiiiide range of results..... It was worth it for me, but I've found myself leaning towards more text designs and affiliating for now, so I'm not renewing.

EDIT: I started to look through the designs, and they are very low quality (not the ideas, the actual files). They all seem to be 72dpi: fine for viewing on a computer monitor, but horribly blurry if you try to push it to 200dpi for printing. Disappointing. I'll try other areas, but so far, the file quality wouldn't be worth it.

No, when you register, you'll have access to larger files. In most cases the transparent eps file as well as larger jpg and gifs and wmf and such.

Doh! I looked at the file formats of various images, and they all gave small sizes and 72dpi (I was in the "vinyl signs" section looking around). The FAQ wasn't very clear on this. Thanks again for your help.
