Hi,
It is not so easy for me to add text to a card for some of my images(mind blanks) but I will give it a good try depending on your opinions. Do you do better with card sells if you add text or leave it blank for the customer to fill it in on their own?

Thanks! Smiler
Deb

I don't do an exceptional amount of sales with cards, certainly not enough to tell if people favor on type or the other.

But, what I do with my cards is let the card dictate whether it needs something inside or not. Some images need a "punch line" on the inside. Some speak for themselves. When the inside is blank, I try to squeeze into the description something along the lines of "inside blank for your personal message".

If you can't decide and have a premium shop, I would try presenting some cards both ways. Sales differences between the two might help you determine if the effort is worth it or not.

Some ideas that came to mind when I looked at your images--you can probably guess which cards they would go with--

You'll have to work out whether to add those time, place, date things or not.

Your work and shop are very elegant.

Thank you MP that is so nice of you! Thanks also for the compliment on my site. The hardest thing was coming up with a color scheme for it. I like cyan.Smiler

I added the text MP and now offer both blank and with text on the designs you suggested and a few others. Thanks for the inspiration! Smiler

Hope it helps sales! Post back and let us know if you see a preference among your customers. Don't forget to tag the new images appropriately with things like invitation, thanksgiving, etc.
