I have been having trouble with my images being too small. They are 2000x2000 (200 or 300 dpi) on my computer, but after I upload them, I see them listed as 500x500. And when I try to add them to a t-shirt, they are too small (5 inches). I can't make them any bigger. They always come up 500x500. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for any help.

if you are saving them as you stated above, they should show up that way. Make sure your program is actually doing 2000x2000 @ 200 or 3000x3000 or 3600x3600 @300. the image should be 10 or 12 inches at the dpi. at 300dpi, a 2000 sq image would be 6.66 inches.

Also, check the product. If it's on the front of the shirt, it may be going to the pocket instead of the center. If that's the case, it will take a smalle image.

It might seem trivial but it's important: Your images are *not* 2000x2000 @ 300DPI. They're 2000x2000. That's it.

DPI doesn't get measured when you're talking pixel width by height. DPI is used when you're using real-world measurements (eg. inches).

So, it's inches @ DPI or it's pixels by pixels.

I bring this up in case the nature of this confusion means stumbling over this point, too. Sometimes the software settings make this extra confusing and one doesn't always get the dimensions you're shooting for.

I am having the same problem with small images. My image is 2550x3509 but when I apply it to a commuter cup, instead of covering the whole cup (as shown in examples) it is only 2.91" tall. I have the same problem with every image, no matter where I apply it, and I have to tell you I am completely lost and confused because my tech skills could be listed on the head of a pin with room left for the Lord's Prayer as well! But I love words, so I want to do this!

No, you can't cover the whole travel mug (sounds like perhaps you were looking at examples of a different item). It has an oval area you can print in:

Size: 2.5 x 4.16 in.
Full Bleed: 2.91 x 4.58 in. (trimmed on mug to 2.5 x 4.16 in. )
Template: http://members.cafepress.com/c...emplates/220_H_F.jpg

If you are not using the template, you might need to apply it smaller so it all fits within the oval print area if you see the edges/corners of the image cut off.

Hope that helps!
