I have tried searching the forums for the information I need, but either I am overlooking it, or it is not there. I would appreciate any assistance with my issues.

1. I would like to add a "View all our Products" link in my nav menu. Is it possible to get a listing of all the products I carry and link to it?

2. I would like to have a Search Box in my store, enabling people to search for what they want, rather than only having selection by design, and the product type drop-down. Is this possible?

3. Is it possible to make sections break down into multiple pages? When I have 70-80 products under a single design, it's quite a lot of thumbnails to load for those on slow connections (such as myself). I'd like to have the sub-sections and products in each section break down by 20 or 30 items per page. Can this be done?

4. I have seen stores that have a background appear behind the item thumbnails. (for example, thumbnail appears to be on a small sheet of paper) How is this effect achieved?

Thank you for your help, even if it is to point me to a thread with the answer. I am trying to make my store the best it can be.

No, the closest you can get to it is the Browse by product box that you already have. Typical successful shops will have thousands of products.

There is a third party tool you can subscribe to for this but it is not provided by CP. http://www.searchcp.com/

Not currently possible and very much wanted by many of us.

A background image is defined. You will need to host the image on your own site or on host site. You can get information on custom coding here http://www.tutortanith.com/#premiumshop

Thank you for the info. I will be looking into/adding the search feature as soon as my internet is running again.
As for the image behind the thumbnails, I looked all over your site, and could not find the information. I know how it would be done if I were making my own web page, but I'm not exactly sure where in the CP code it would need to be. That's my problem right now. Also, I'm not sure how to know what the proper size for the image would be, so that it would show around the edges of the thumbnail. Help with this info would be much appreciated.
I'm surprised CP doesn't have a way to break sections down into pages. Is there a thread somewhere where we could let them know this is a desired feature? Being on 26K dial-up, I know how long it takes for some of our sections to load all those images.

For my background image I use a thumbnail image from one of my sections. Just add a new section. In the section thumbnail, upload the image you want to use as the background make a note of the url of the image then hide the section.
Use the appropriate html to use it as your background.

As for the search thing. I used to use a great 3rd party tool that worked great. CFant remember what it was now?? erm.. I will have a look around and see if I can find it.

It seems ScarchCP costs $50?? I can't afford to spend that much, I am just starting out with my store. Are there no free search codes available?

You might try using google search within your url, but a tool to do that isn't free because of the effort involved in getting the data in order to be able to search.
