I have opened my shop about 3 weeks ago and have had very few visitors. I think my art is distinct and cute and I hope they're going to sell, but discouraged by the lack of visitors... do these designs have selling potential?

Your designs are absolutely adorable, and should sell well if quality is any measure of success. As I say to everyone in a similar situation, I would recommend that you spring for a Premium shop so that you can put every design on a wide range of products, then just try to promote your store in every way you can think of.

However, I agree your art is adorable and distinct.

I worry that yours will be another case of an artist who is talented with products that should sell but doesn't have the marketing to back it up.

Don't ask if your products are the reason for lack of sales because that's the wrong question. It's all about exposure and that's not automatic or guaranteed just because you set up an online store.

Get your marketing up to speed or get someone to help you because it'd be a shame if art like this went unnoticed.

yes, what I have realized about this design business is that sometimes its more about who you show it to than the design.
for instance...designs like yours I would show around to coffee shops? maybe have fliers or make an arrangement with owners at bake shops or something like that...link with websites with recipes?
