Just completed a major shop layout change. I'm trying to move away from having a site that's "a blog with a shop" to more of "a shop that just happens to have a blog".

Mainly I changed the home page and shop page to have a rotating images of the sections so that those pages focus on the shop, not the blog. Then on each shop page, I drastically reduced the sidebar to the absolute minimum and used the wider empty space below to spread out the product images more. Just above that section I added a blue bar that "leads" the visitor to take the next action.
