Hey there, I am new here and I wanted to introduce myself. The information on this site is fantastic. As a former eBay seller who was totally into that environment, I understand about the keyword thingies and metatag doohickies stuff - such teckie jargon or what?

I still run some discussion groups on eBay but I have returned to painting and slapping the work on anything not nailed down.

I know that one of the biggest markets is sold from within - users of cafepress who understand the platform must be some of the biggest shoppers, as eBay sellers were some of my best customers.

Hope to meet some of you someday!

Lisa

Hi,

I have learned so much from your article. I visited you shop and was wondering if you could tell me how to add the coupon info on my site and the special request email link.

Again thanks for all the good info!

Cami

Promote your shops at www.geocities.com/cafepresslinks. Just include a link on your shop to my webpage, send me an email cafepresslinks@yahoo.com with your shops web address, and then I will include your shop in the HOT SHOPS section of my webpage. Sit back and watch the referrals visit your site!

Thank you for that information and making it available on the forums. I have printed it out and I am still working on it. If I knew what I was doing as well as you do, I'd probably make it a CP book. I have also read all the replies and will continue to do so and follow up on the suggestions.

I have added a lot of new stuff to my stores which I hope will help. I have been a member since 2004 and I am still waiting to sell enough merchandize to receive my first $25 check! in 2006 I sold 1 item!

I have started the process of adding to the tags on my images, just now I discovered an image with no tags at all. I couldn't understand why I wasn't able to find it in the search function. No wonder why nobody else has. I'm still adding descriptions though. This takes a bit of time but I am working on it. being I have yet to earn my first check (and even then all of that money is going to an animal shelter.. see the link below) I am not going to upgrade to a premium shop anytime soon. When i start making at least enough money to cover the extra cost I will. I would be more willing if I didn't have to keep it a premium shop once upgrading. That alone is a deterrent, I have to be 100% sure I can afford it first!

for now I have an external site to present all of the items I sell. I'm still not great with coming up with descriptions so the ones I have get repeated a lot. feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Thanks!

For now I am using the domain for my fundraising event to host the external site because of reason listed above, and I'm already paying for the site anyway.

Hey, This information will help me. I just have a basic shop right now, but am thinking about buying a premium one. My art is all about animals; dogs, wildlife, farm animals, and other pets. I have a lot of Dachshund artwork and just opened a basic shop for doxies. Thank you!

This answered a lot of questions. When you put "illlustration/graphic" does the "/" tell search engines to use either word?

thanks for the pimp tips!
