You can't pay for rankings themselves. You can pay an SEO expert to try and get you to the top, but the results are not instant, nor are they guaranteed and the cost is usually substantial. You can try adwords to try and get exposure for the keywords you are trying to target, but they aren't genuine rankings, just advertising.

Here's a friendly suggestion, Amanda. Your text on your CP site is the canned CP text. On your setup page you can type text of your own. Borrow from the text on your non-CP site but put it in the third person - - - or copy from your bio onto your front page. Either way, the object is to get search engine keywords at the beginning of your shop. LinkinMall.net, Army Shirts, Air Force Shirts, Coast Guard Shirts, Marine Corps Shirts, and Navy Shirts personalize t-shirts & merchandise for military members, public service employees, school alumni, family reunions, & other causes that catch our attention. Just an update. I have started a blog that will have the purpose of helping out new and old shopkeepers. I am hoping to use it as a way to motivate me to learn more about what it takes to run a successful store. I invite anyone to visit whenever they want and submit their pearls of wisdom to me which I may post. I hope to become a better (read, more successful) shopkeeper from this venture, and hopefully I can impart some worthy knowledge along the way to my readers too.

Do you have the code from statcounter? If you do put it somewhere like the header, sidebar or footer so each time a page is loaded it can record it. matt |

Statcounter only will work on a premium shop, a basic shop is not set up so that you can modify it by adding a counter.
