Thanks, great comprehensive tutorial! Got a question whats the deal with templates VS in store edits/shrinking. Obviously it's quicker to mass apply a tee image to lots of products and often works pretty well...is this cheating?

What are the draw backs to shifting the image size in cafe press instead of useing a template?

Thanks,
Grant

are there any tutorials for installing statcounter
on cafepress stores? It seems like a standard cut and paste between the body tags but when i go to the custom section of cafepress its a bit confusing, any help will be appreciated,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. I'm new to CP, and was so lost in regards to promoting. At the moment, I'm just trying to figure out the navigation on these pages, but will definitely be tweaking my shop to match a lot of your advice.
Thanks again!

Thank you so much and for the links for more information.

There has been so much woderful tips and I am thrilled, however it is hard to focus and can get overwhelming.

I am going to have to make a to do list and start marking it off.

I agree with the last two posts...navigation was overwhelming in the beginning but the more you go through the different pages the more it becomes second nature to pin point exactly where you want to go and the to do list is a great idea, I do that too otherwise I just forget what it is that I wanted to do. One thing that I do do is keep a subject book beside the computer, it has divers in it and I keep one section marked "ideas" and I write them down as they come to me so I don't lose them later on in my always thinking brain.

My question is: When you say to add a description does it need to be set out as sentences or will just using words separated my commas also do the same thing..pretty much like tags?

Most of all I would like to add my thanks for the tutorial... very intuitive!

Lastly, I welcome any comments or criticism on my store that anyone would like to offer to help me achieve a better store. Smiler Big Hug

Using just words instead of sentences looks unprofessional and may also be looked at by google as keyword spamming if the words repeat too often on a page.

Sentences are also preferred by affiliates.

Thanks Susan...I'm very green at all of this, have only just set up shop. Have only just taught myself some basic html and my head is spinning with all these new things..You referred to "affiliates" and I have no idea yet what that actually means..LOL..but I am very quickly learning all these new things. I know what an affiliate is...but not how it works in this instance.

Thanks for your reply..and very quick too!

I'm sure to have more questions and work to do on my store.
