Basically, you can't promote your shop for free and expect sales. Making money these days from cafepress is virtually a no-go.

Try Squidoo, that seems to be worthwhile for many shopkeepers here.

I've noticed you have several designs in your basic shop. If you're going to stick with basic shops, you need to open a shop for each design and put that design on all products that it fits on. In basic shops you can only have 1 of each product. If someone comes to your shop now and sees a design they like but they want it on another type of tee they won't be able to get it.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. I've been with CP for over 2 years and have 5 premium shops and I have never paid for advertisement. And I have regular sales. Of course the profits are down since the change but the sales are still coming in.

Gongpex- there's many threads here on the forums about free advertising. Read through them and you'll find something useful

*Blog about your store and design (I have been very successful with this)
*Put links in your signature on forums you are a member of (if it is allowed)
*Make a Squidoo page
*And word of mouth helps alot
*I notice your niche is religious base. I assume you have a circle of friends in a church? If so, pass the word along to them.

Those are just a few things.

If you are a blogger, you can make a post about your shop. There are several free blog places on the web you can find with a search. And remember, you can open as many basic shops as you want, without charge. There are several posts in the forum about blogging.

And yes, you can make money at CP.
