I am new to this and so far I have figured out how, I think, to get my image into a transparency an upload it into cafepress to print on dark products. But, if you look in my store the current logo is black and gray and all the products are on white or ash products. I want to create the logo (with outline) to be printed in white on dark products. How do I do this?
Yes, so you are not confused by a second post... I am still looking for the distressed look in CorelDraw 9 version.
Also, how do I make a white outline on my light colored garments show up? Currently the outline is set to a light gray on all lite products including white (which looks good on white). BUT, on the ash (light gray), light blue and pink I would like the outline to be white.
Use off-white instead of pure white. Or use white, then put an off-white box behind your image before you save it.
When you select your transparency color, it will go for a single color, so it will differentiate between white and ivory or pale grey. That's the key, selecting the transparent color.
You can do some interesting distressing if you scan your own beat-up images. Crumple paper, foild, rip things... then use blending modes and transparent layering to get things where you want them. (Or use fills on transparent layers.)
