1. Please begin your topic with which software (name and edition) you need help on. Examples:
"Corel Draw 13: How do I export a PNG with Transparency?" "Corel PhotoPaint 12: How Do I get rid of the background layer?"
2. In your post be AS SPECIFIC as you possibly can about your problem- such as the width and height of your graphic in pixels, third-party plug-ins being used, etc.
To remove an existing background from a graphic in PhotoPaint:
1.) Open the graphic.
2.) In the "Objects" docker, there should only be one thumbnail, and it should be labeled "background". Right-click on it.
3.) From the menu, select "Create from Background". Now, the graphic is a floating object, ready to have any excess hacked off!
4.) You can use the magic wand to get large areas, or the eraser to clean up details, or use the lasso or other selection tools to create a specific shape.
Whichever method you use, make sure anti-aliasing is turned OFF.
