I am using one of the standard templates at the moment, but would like to add my own header etc. I am fairly OK with html, but am getting really confused about where everything goes and how CP pulls the images and code in. Phil - for shop customization images, you need to host them somewhere online and pull in your code from there. I use photobucket but there are other places too.
If it is a simple header banner you want to add, that can go in the 'shop description' area. If you are doing more extensive shop customizing, make sure you save what you currently have in a document, so you can replace it if necesary (I've had to do that when I messed things up.)

I was in that same situation last week... so I was cutting & pasting lines of code from the custom HTML section into a separate browser window to see exactly what the images were... like the spacer.gif etc... then either deleting, replacing, or leaving the code in place as appropriate to the layout I wanted to create.
