I had an account to affiliate CP thru CJ however, I had monies in the cj account, because I didn't meet their quota they kept the monies and deleted my account.. So, I resigned back up with cj to get my affiliation back on line with CP however on the 18th of June, I requested to affiliate with CP but they have not authorized, emailed, or granted permission for me to promote their products. I even emailed CP..

Does CP NOT want affiliates because they pay 15% commission?
I know someone is going to jump in here close this thread because I mentioned CJ because it's been done before.. I am sorry but no matter how you read it, CJ is a part of CP.

My question is: Why does CP NOT want new affiliates? What is going on? I sign up for other affiliation thru CJ and it's either instant or approved in 1 day! Why does CP take so long?
Does CP really NOT want us shopkeepers as affiliates?

Just to get someone angry, My personal opinion is that CJ is the reason CP is going under..

The last I heard CP was reevaluating the affiliate program. Until that was finished they wouldn't be accepting any new affiliates to the program.

You could write an email to affiliates@cafepress.com. Perhaps you could see if they can approve you, who knows it don't hurt to ask them.

Why do you want to get someone angry? It takes away from the "Helpful and Positive enviroment we strive for here on the forum. Inserting my personal opinion... We do not know that CP is going under, they have not stated that anywhere. It is only an assumption many have made due to the recent MP changes.

Last I heard, they had completed that (although I suspect they would say they are constantly evaluating every program as they should) and that they were accepting affiliates. But they don't just hit the "accept all" button. They probably had quite a few on the waiting list to go through. I'm glad they are looking at each one to keep out parasites. It's possible that they aren't finished and are still catching up, or it's possible they overlooked you. I'll see if I can poke the affiliate manager to help you out.

None-the-less.. I think what RowdyJRT is trying to relay to you and what I was trying to relay to you back when I was a moderator is that there is nothing that any of us can do for you here on the peer-to-peer forums. As such, coming to the forums to bash CJ or CP over he affiliate program is wasted breath.

If you have contacted CJ and the CP affiliate email address without getting a satisfactory response, my next step would be to contact the Community Team (Ang and Britta) per the guidelines.

You are clearly having a problem with CafePress.com's affiliate program. So contact them. All your posts are doing here in the peer-to-peer forums is leaving you running in circles hat you are already trying to find a way out of. Nobody here can help you with your problem and while I understand your frustration, coming here and calling people thieves and bashing them will probably only put your privileges here in jeopardy due to violating forum guidelines.

I'm not in that circle any longer so I'm talking to you as one shopkeeper to another and trying to help get you pointed in the right direction to get some help.

Good luck getting things resolved... Smiler Big Hug
