Since this IS a third party subject, I will take it that it is in the correct thread. If NOT then too bad!

I put in for affiliation with Cafepress (Ever heard of it?)
I did this on the 2-Apr-2009, I have asked a few times and still no response from CP. They (CJ) took (Stole) the money I had in my account before they decided it was time to close my account on (CJ). I guess it's their way of justifying the loss of my income by not producing enough sales. It was only I believe a mere $20.00 something. But hey.. $20.00 is $20.00. I opened another account on CJ and got another account number and naturally they can't transfer the money to the new account. But then How would I know as they NEVER answer any emails.. DON"T say call them! I have better things to do with my time like when I called there was a 80 minute hold time. How convenient!
All that aside, my problem is that I applied to CP to have a affiliate account.... They NEVER even authorized an account. it's been waiting approval since 2-Apr-2009. I wrote, (Emailed) still no response. Why is CP not approving my application?
Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

I can't seem to make anymore sales with CP as I was just wasting my time trying to out do their SEO. I stopped promoting my shops as the sales always end up as marketplace sales. So why bother. I can't afford anymore promotion of my shops. Also, the way they (CP) uses the RETARGET program it's totally pointless to do any SEO!

I will be closing my shops at the end of the month and moving on to other affiliate programs. I really enjoyed doing the artwork and have tons more but can't make a living so will sell shoes, jewelry, clothing etc.

I was going to do the CP affiliate program as they pay 15% but seems obvious they don't want me doing the affiliate thing.

I think for a company to not even answer an email is very unprofessional!

Yes I am angry now, but I wasn't when I applied.

Balance, you already have an open discussion on this same topic, HERE. I'll be closing this one due to that.

I responded to you in that thread and others that CP was re-evaluating the affiliate program, until that was finished (no date was given) they wouldn't be accepting new affiliates.

That is the response I'm going to have to give you, because there isn't anyone here on the "peer to peer" forum with the answers you seek. Either call or email them, affiliates@cafepress.com If that don't work, submit your information via the online CONTACT US link. Did you call the 1-877-809-1659 number? 80 minutes? I can't imagine holding a phone next to my ear for almost an hr and a half. If I'm on hold longer that 5 minutes, I hang up and call back. If they don't answer, I look for other ways to CONTACT them.

Have you checked to make sure responses are not getting sent to your junk/spam folder? I have always had success in getting a response from any dept at CP, and it's not because I am a moderator. When they rec an email from my account they have no way of knowing I am a moderator.

That is something that you should contact CJ about, posting it here isn't going to get the information to CJ. As Shawn stated, CP does not have control over any CJ guidelines/policies and so on.
In another thread Shawn (pristinephoto) gave you the following response to the same question you are asking now.

Unfortunately they are the only ones who can answer you. CafePress uses them as a service provider. Nobody at CP has anything to do with the CJ policies or how CJ pays.

That is speculation, and certainly not something any of us would have an answer to. That is a question that needs to be directed to Cafepress. Have you submitted a bug report asking CP to explain why that is showing in your cart? I'll include the link for you below so you can do that.
