Maybe this no longer applies, but what about the prohibitions at places such as Myspace for being a business, advertising there (at least openly), and in the past, being against their TOS. Even having some sk sites pulled down. We have a Myspace page and state that there is our shop, but ... putting up a SHOPbot seems counter to the past prohibitions. Has CP made an agreement with those sites that allow it now?

Is it back to YOUR shop as in "cafepress.com/yourshop" which gives you YOUR markup? or "shop.cafepress.com/yourshop" which gives you CP's 10% markup of THEIR price? ??? They call us "geeks". They call us "nerds". We call ourselves "pop culture aficionados!" http://www.atocom.blogspot.com http://cafepress.com/atocom |

Looking into the SHOPbot tool, but it seems ... less useful than it could be for larger shops. Unless you do as they say and create a specific new "best selling" sections, it can only pull from a single section that has similar products, instead of pulling from several for a variety of products. Am I thinking about this wrong?

didn't work for me in beta. all i got was that retarded robot error message.
just tried putting it up on my myspace the other night. it shows but nothing happens when i click the buy now or info button, it just sits there. also had some friends try it and it did the same thing. it even errored out firefox for one person. doubt i'll bother ever using it again, since it hasn't worked right since it was introduced.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BoltZ DesignZ - Automotive Apparel For The Automotive Enthusiast - AFFILIATE ME A wise man (blipfish) once said: "Just go with it. Thanks for all the comments. I had a feeling it was too good to be true. I guess I was just hopiing to get back to the good old days when I could actually make my mark-up. After opting out of the marketplace, I opted back in the other day after weeks of absolutely no sales and no check this month. But so far still no sales.

Announcement... Sellit.com...Hummm just a mere $10.00 a month Coming soon.. Isn't it funny that everything that is free ends up costing in the long run.. I am sure if you do the free thing you'll find out it's pointless unless you add the adpak starting at just $10.00 a month! Sure sounds tempting...

Thanks, Rowdy. Couldn't get it to work when I tried it. Was probably doing something wrong. Guess I should ask this question first before trying again. What I'm trying to do is have a flash panel of "my products only" to put on a separate domain, can I accomplish that with Cafewish or any other tool out there?
Thanks, Jeff |

Hey BoltZ22 I'm sorry to hear it didn't work for you. If you email me at help@ustrive.com I will look into trying to get your ShopBOT to work for you. My guess is that you created a ShopBOT and then did not register for a Sellit account. Once you register you can use the Share features and all the buttons should be functional. Jesse |

Balance, The Sellit ShopBOT's main purpose is that you can drive your CafePress store TO your traffic, rather than trying to drive your traffic to your store. Placing it on blogs, websites, social networks can help increase your stores visibility. The AdPAK feature is for additional advertising of your store, outside of social networks. If you have any questions feel free to email me at help@ustrive.com for assistance or questions! Jesse www.sellit.com |

Personally, I found it very easy to set-up the Sellit ShopBot account and put it on my Facebook page. I'm not overly enthused that it only promotes a single product, though. I would prefer to be able to feature several products (at the very least) or direct traffic directly to either my storefront or specific sections.
Thanks for the tool, though. I hope it helps. KLC Lewis T's Me NOW! Irreverent Imprints For Individuals www.cafepress.com/tmen www.KLCLewisStudios.com |

Agree KLC. Haven't done it yet. Can't quite figure out how better it is, or easier, than having product thumbnails and links. That way you can at least show more than one product. Would love if it did more of what you said.
