Is anyone else having problems with Instant Cafe Feeder? I can't get it to work. I PMd Adam last night about it, but I'm still waiting to hear back from him.

I'm just wondering if anyone else might know what's going on with it.

Kim

What are you using it for?

Google stopped accepting Shopkeeper Feeds.

Not sure what she's using it for, but it can be used for more than just feeding products to search engines. It's a good way to get your products into a form that you can import into a spreadsheet, for example.

Hi Guys,

Teesed - You are right I want to create a spreadsheet.

Adam - Thanks I will contact you via support. However I am also going to post it here in case someone else can help as well.

Every time I try to run Instant Cafe Feeder I get the error message:

Run-time error '5' Ivalid procedure call or argument

I have not opted out of the marketplace either.

Kim, I'm going to go ahead and answer this because Adam is most likely in bed, he is in the UK.

You should have contacted Adam via the support link on the Instant Cafe site and not the Cafepress.com support area.
Here is the link to the support form at Instant Cafe: http://feeder.instant-cafe.com/support

Hi everyone,

Thanks to Kim for bringing this error to my attention.

I've just uploaded a new version (3.0.4) which fixes this.

More details (if anyone wants them i.e. developers)
------------
A recent (how recent I don't know) change to the image urls in the API meant that the "mediaId" was no longer included in the url. Hence the ungraceful crash in ICF.

It used to be included within the individual product node. Now, it is only located 2 levels up in a parent node. For redundancy this is better - less data to spit out - but for developers who were using this as a quicker way to get at this value it could cause problems.

If people have any other issues please contact me via Support (http://feeder.instant-cafe.com/support) or Twitter.

Thanks,
