There have been several threads here and I've had a few emails asking for help with google base feeds recently.

People are uploading, but after a day or more it still says ") items added" and "processing".

DO NOT upload a new feed.

GB has been reporting delays in processing that could take up to 72 hours. While that sounds crazy enough, if you upload a new feed, it very well could knock it out of it's place in the queue when you just might have been next in line.

If anyone has any updates on the status of this, feel free to post here. I'm going to temporarily sticky this here until it goes back to "normal".

This is a quick update to let you know that the issue regarding items
remaining in the "Published...searchable soon" status has been
resolved. However, the issue regarding feed processing delays
continues to affect larger feed files. On a positive note, smaller
feeds under 1 MB are no longer affected by the current processing
delays and you should see your feeds processing as usual.

There you have it.

We saw problems again with Google Base last week.

Here is the email from Google explaining...

"A feed processing issue has affected feeds that were uploaded between
the 25-28th of November. This issue has caused feeds to remain in the
"processing" state indefinitely.

The issue has been resolved, however if you have noticed the status
"processing" for more than 3 days, please re-upload your feed to
Google Base.
