I think there is freedom of speech and all that and not going into any political discussion - I don't believe that CP should be allowing the worded designs that you see when searching "Palin quits" ...

Irrelevant to who you support or not there exists a thing called decency - I am not easily shocked but this is a step too far.

Well, there are certainly some vulgar "designs" in there, to be certain. But it is protected speech, and as long as CP doesn't think it violates CUP, it's permissible. Will anyone's eyes explode if they read those words? Probably not.

I see what you mean, and agree that some have gone to far. Actually, I think some do violate CP rules.

It's kind of like other stuff that you or I may think is infringing - send it cup@cafepress.com as they may not have caught it on upload. Then again, they may see it and determine it's not out of the policy. I can't imagine people would actually buy some of that and wear it publicly regardless of their politics so maybe it will drop down in the algo quickly.

I never was a Palin supporter but I find some of those shirts offensive. If CP can block the posting of competitors names why don't they block the use of the C word and the W word on the tee shirts? Search for Palin Quits and you even see those two words show up as the search tag words.

I sent an email off, and they evidently agreed. The designs are no longer available.
