What is your job outside of CP?
I became a full time Graphic Designer / Internet Entrepreneur in the summer of 2005. Prior to that I was an in-house Graphic Designer for various companies after having moved into that career after working in the movie industry in marketing and promotions. Currently, I also write for a gaming website.

What are your hobbies and passions?
Video Games (mostly MMORPGs). Rockclimbing. Fencing. Travel. The Outdoors. Art. Photography. Movies. Reading. Writing. Literature. My heritage. Music. The Internet. Technology.

What is your "expert" area/what areas do you find yourself most helpful in?
I'm probably most helpful with questions about computer graphics, marketing, promotions, publicity, and event selling.

Tell us about your shop?
I have over 6 premium shops, all centered around interests of mine. I love bouncing from one to another, it keeps the designing process fresh. My largest shop is also my oldest, I started it to help cover my video game expenses and because I found that when I asked myself the question, "Would you rather work on this freelance design project? Or knock out another t-shirt design?" the answer often seemed to be, "Make another t-shirt!"

What's going on in the background while you work on your shop? Music, TV, dead silence?
Most often it's just the sound of birds, seasonal park traffic, and the ocean waves (if there's a decent swell). Occasionally I'll play music or run a TV show on my laptop as I work on my desktop.

While at your day job, are you guilty of being on the CafePress Community Forums?
I consider the forums as part of my day job... the "Water Cooler" part though

Do you prefer unicorns or Pegasus's?
Unipegs.

Do you have any hidden talents?
Many of my talents are self evident (climbing, fencing, etc) for the rest... I plead the 5th.

What inspires your designs?
My interests. Art. Design. Nature. Friends. Family. Curiosity, and... procrastination.

Random fact:
Several years ago I once posted on the forums that I did not think it would be possible to make a living solely off of CafePress.

I qualified my statement at least, saying that different areas of the country had varying "costs of living". I think I gave an example of living in Southern California as probably not attainable though.

Fast forward a few years... I still don't rely solely on CafePress but the portion of my income that comes from it does indeed cover all my living expenses with some left over. I'm happy to have been "wrong" about that
