Hi guys
i am trying to follow steps in editing an existing image to be transparent for black garments provided by recommendations from Cafe Press but I got stuck on step 6. After I expand
selection with Magic Wand by 1 pixel nothing happens. The transparency checkerboard does not show up and I can not hit delete key. Please guide me how to do this editing right. Thank you

Ah, the old tragic wand trick. Smiler

If you're trying to delete a white background (or whatever color) on the background layer it has to be unlocked. You can either double click on it to unlock it or (better) duplicate it and delete it on the duplicate layer. Bear in mind that you'll have to hide the background layer to see the results.

What I've seen is most people with this problem forget to -begin- by making the image into a background layer - Could this be the problem?
