Try Ulead PhotoImpact. I think you'll be happy.

Is Ulead a 'vector' program? - PHOTO impact. I cannot believe that there will not be a way to run the CorelDRAW Suite on any version of Windows that comes out.
Why buy X4? Buy at least a one verson older Suite - X3 for under $100. But of course - the 64-bit could be the problem. Why 64-bit ...? Would actually be less expensive to replace the PC itself with a 32-bit and a one-version old copy of the CorelDRAW Suite than to buy Windows 7 and put it on a 64-bit machine AND buy another vector program. As a confirmed CorelDRAW fan and supporter - there is NOTHING that compares to the versatility of the Suite. Just don't pay full price. . |

Ulead PhotoImpact handles vector-based drawing as well as bit-mapped graphics. It has excellent photo editing abilities, and some Photoshop plug-ins work with it as well. It allows you to work in layers (objects), does transparent png, and can save and work with PSD files. It's really quite an excellent value.
