Repeating image on one template. Is it ok to do?

Templates exist to make sure that you get the canvas large enough. As long as you own the rights to the image (no violation of trademark, copyright, publicity, privacy) you can do whatever you like. The number of layers you use to create the image does not matter. When you are done you should save the file in the default file type (e.g. *.psd in Photoshop). Then you will save a copy to upload. That will be *.png. Png does not support layers so the layers must be merged. In Photoshop this can be done automatically by choosing "Save for Web" and ignoring the message that the image is too large.

Since I"m still opted in to the marketplace, and they show the back of the mugs instead of the front, I usually place the same image toward each end of the mug template so that the the image is on both back and front. If you want 3 or more images for a wrap-around effect, that should work, too. |
