I have signed up for affiliate programs at CJ, but nothing ever happens. I just got an email saying they would close my account if I don't start any business with CJ. I would like it to work out, but what to do next?

Can someone help here?

Would love if you come and take a browse around my shop. It is based on Switzerland. My August 1st ideas seem to sell the best.

This happend to me recently too. CJ somehow took me out of the system. In the old system I used to get a decent amount of sales, but somehow with CJ I get very few or none. I was in the process of changing some things up, but wasn't in a rush to do so, and now I can't log in and they don't respond to reactivating my CJ account.

I don't get why they deactivate if you don't get enough sales. It seems unfair, and illogical, especially seeing we are coming to them from cafepress and are obviously going to try to make everybody money.

I could understand being deactivated for doing something against TOS, but not for not making enough money.

You might try affiliates@cafepress.com to see about reactivation. It's just their standard procedure to wean out inactive accounts from their system. They (CJ) want people who put effort and get success affiliating, not people who "dabble" in affiliating. I'm not saying that's you, that's just how they look at the account that hasn't made a sale in 6 months.

Thanks for all your input. They haven't deactivated me yet, but I know I am close to it. My sales are minimal in general. The Holidays have picked my sales up a bit. Which is nice. Would be nice to have them help out too. What is the point to sign up and they don't want your help.

Thanks for stopping by

Hey, if I was in jeopardy of getting deactivated, I'm going to buy something myself to stay on the board. Smiler

Keep in mind that they will also disable your account there if you don't log into CJ for a while. I'd recommend at a bare minimum to log into your account weekly to check messages there. Serious affiliates will usually pop in daily to check for new offers, new merchants, and review yesterday's stats.

I heard somewhere though that they look at login inactivity as well as sales inactivity. So you'll wanna keep both in mind when maintaining your account there.
