When I get the banners from CJ they have my CJ PID in the HTML code. And I've been copying and pasting it to my website. Is that right? Or do I need to be editing the code with my CP XID and/or SID?

The link will have your PID in it already. They provide a field for you to fill in for the SID, I forget what it is called offhand on the form, but if you fill it out, the link will include your SID as well.

The only thing the link will not include is the XID. The XID is a field that is specific to CafePress. Since not all affiliates are shopkeepers, only those who have a shop would need to add the XID parameter.

No.. If you copy and paste from a shop's affiliate recruiting page without putting in your correct PID you wont get affiliate credit.

If you copy and paste from CJ, CJ already knows your PID and puts it in for you automagically. But the ads there are generic CP ads and not shop specific.
