I've tried this before and gave up in frustration, but I'm back to attempt it once again. I have tried to follow the instructions on the "best practices" page and create an affiliate link to the "genealogy" items at CafePress.

My CJ PID is 2381830. Can someone tell me what is wrong with this configuration. It goes nowhere when I put it into the address bar of a browser:

I've built the link. It works. All is well with the world (well....not really...).

The tutorial is so much easier to understand.

Is this link OK? I just checked best practices and I have my XID in the middle instead of the end. The link appears to work but I am worried I may not be getting credit. This link is an example of linking to the cafepress great dane page.
