I just want to generate my CJ link, but I don't know how to fill the form that comes up, when I click "Get HTML". I read the best practices, but I'm just a little confused. Can anyone please walk me through the form?

Which form are you using? CP doesn't have a form where you enter the data to create a link. There are a couple of third party apps that have been created by folks here that do that though. It would help to know what you are using...

One thing that might help is the link creation guides created by Diane(Tanith). You can find links to her guides and a bunch of other useful info in the post I created and stickied at the top of the forum titled Frequently Asked Affiliate Help Questions and Helpful Links.

Not sure Tali.. I replaced the letters "pid" with one of my CJ PIDs and it brought up the marketplace page for pinup girls. Where did you get the number you are using for the PID? You are replacing the letters "pid" with your number, correct?

I substituted the word PID with the pid I got from CJ in the get links section

Not sure.. The link works. Are you putting it on a website you own or someplace where you are doing a hosted blog or something? Some hosted blogs don't allow affiliate links. I'm wondering if that is the problem. As I said, I put my PID in your link and it worked fine.

Ahhh.. You cannot put affiliate links in your cafepress shop. The link in your shop is actually a violation of the terms and conditions you agree to when you become an affiliate.

At any rate, that is probably why it doesn't work. The link as you have it is fine. If you copy the url to a new browser window, it pulls up the pinup-girl marketplace search results page.
