I've had no CP affiliate sales since Saturday. In fact I've had no sales with CJ whatsoever since Saturday. Very unusual.
How about you?
I'd like to hear from Shelby on this matter. It would appear that CJ is broken. Are transactions being recorded and not processed or is something else going on?
Rhea, did you email the affiliate team? You mentioned in your first post that you'd like to hear from Shelby. Keep in mind that the forums here are peer-to-peer. If you are looking for responses from the affiliate team directly, you need to email them.
I haven't really seen a change myself but my sites that I have CP on are naturally slow due to being pretty new and I'm still crawling through working on SEO for them.
It does appear to me that CJ is malfunctioning today. I too show no clicks, which would be truly odd, if it was accurate.
On Rhea's original topic, I also went through a period of no sales that lasted 5 days, something that has not occurred on my affiliate sites in at least 15 months. Two days in a row with no sales would be unusual. I have had two days with sales since that odd period, so I am presuming everything is ok and that my break was just an anomaly. I will say that this month's affiliate sales are comparatively low and I am a bit worried.
I am not sure where to take my concern now, or in the future. Do I have questions for CP or CJ?
Typically, orders placed on CafePress will show up in your Affiliate reports on CJ within 2-4 hours. Yesterday, there was an unusual delay -- we didn't see transactions start posting until 4pm pacific. By midnight last night, the transactions caught up. I'm told by our CJ AM this was due to a site release which caused a backlog in transaction processing. When these delays occur, tracking and reporting of commissions is never in jeopardy - its just that the data hits a bottleneck and takes a bit of time to cycle through the servers.
Other than this blip, there hasn't been anything else unusual this week.
Your post answered both my questions. I didn't really think there was anything to concerned about, but in my case, the oddity of the last week or so, had just about reached the true worry line.
