A visitor can click on an image they like and are taken to the add to cart screen for that image....is that my sale at that point? Or do I need to take them in any further?

And if that is my sale, what if they bounce off from there and start surfing through other stuff in CP? Will that be mine as well or no?

Once you take them to the CafePress site, whether it's the product page or the design page or just about any page, any purchase they make will be credited to you as long as they put the item in their cart within 30 days and as long as they don't come back to CafePress through another affiliate link.

If they add to the cart on this trip sent by you, then get back to the Cafepress site from another affiliate and add another item, my understanding is that you would get credit for the first and they would get credit for the second.
