Okay, I am completely new to the affiliate process, and I have a "dumb" question. I am trying to sign up with CJ, but they ask for the name of your website or newsletter. For newsletters, you don't need to include an URL.

I have a website (off CP site), but I do not plan to use that website for affiliating CP products. I was going to try 4th click.

Do I need to enter the url to the website I am actually going to use for my CP products, or can I just enter my current website that I own and continue with the application from there?

Again, I am very new to the affiliate world so any helpful response would be appreciated. Thanks!

Winter

You can enter the website you currently own. They will check to see if it actually exists, so don't use a URL you don't have yet.

Many people have multiple websites and one CJ account. You don't have to match a particular website to a particular merchant you plan to promote.

Once you have a new site through 4th click, you'll want to add that as an additional website in your CJ account.
