Been with CP since Dec 06 and have never promoted my shops in the affiliate forums but i'm averaging about 5-7% of sales from affiliates who "found me" so to speak.
I've now 4 shops,Military with humor,Humor(Adult,political and offensive),Kids(Green designs,humor and offensive humor too) and my little sis'contribution,a Feminist themed store.
My question is,have other shopkeepers seen an increase in their % of overall sales after promoting their shops in the forums?
I haven't. But, I still occasionally go to "Affiliates Looking For Shops" and post there when appropriate. Most of my sales that come from Affiliates tend to be the same ones that are my best sellers already. So, this leads me to believe one of two things. Either the affiliate selling it for me has a link directly to the MP or they have a program that pulls best sellers into their site automatically. I know of a couple that do this last method.
